Women optimistic about remainder of season

By Nick Wilczynski, senior

The Lady Falcons suffered a rough loss this past Saturday losing 83 to 70 to Bethel College to make their overall record 6-5 and 1-1 in the KCAC.

"It was a tough game but we will learn," said senior Ta’vionna Polley-Davis.

Polley-Davis led the team with 18 points and also recorded eight assists. She is currently the team leader for the Falcons averaging over 18 points and four assists a game.

Sophomore Minta Whetstone supported Polley-Davis by scoring 19 points and had four assists herself.

With head coach RaeAnne Boothe in her first season with the Falcons, the team is seeing changes on and some off the court.

Senior Ta’vionna Polley-Davis feels like she is a part of something special and believes that this year’s team has better chemistry than in the past seasons.

The Falcons will take on the University of St. Mary’s on December 9th at home.
